Users of Top-Map’s map database can now report errors and road changes in 21 countries and in a wide choice of languages.
Following the recent extension of Top-Map's map portfolio, Map Editor is now available in eight additional countries. Map Editor is an easy-to-use application where users can report any changes, new roads or errors detected in the navigation maps, and these modifications will be included in the company’s next map updates. In addition to the 12 Eastern European countries that were previously covered, the service is now available in the Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Slovenia, as well as two South American countries (Argentina and Colombia) and Israel.
Having undergone several improvements and with a new skin and extended functions, Map Editor is now ready to receive modification suggestions and comments from users, who can make reports in their own language for all the countries served.
The map-making company plans to continue adding countries to Map Editor, with the aim of offering the most precise and up-to-date maps possible.

As of 15th September, Top-Map continues to deliver the map-making processes from its new site, located in Budapest’s 1st district, 23 Bérc street. We work hand-in-hand with Nav N Go specialists in the new building, where our goal is to synchronize and align the co-operation to raise the work-flow to a new quality level.
Top-Map will continue to operate as an independent company in the digital map market. To this end we shall retain our brand image, and keep the same channels of communication. We expect from the move to initiate positive influence to both companies in every respect, and our end-users are expected to profit as well from the benefits of a more focused work activity.
The Top-Map homepage has been updated: From now on the website is even more informative, and it’s worth coming back to check the frequent site updates. There is also a renewed Map Editor page, where users can send comments and report changes that should be made to the digital maps of 12 Central and Eastern European countries.
During the planning of the new homepage, we made every effort to provide a clear introduction to the company’s activities, so that users would gain a better insight into how navigation maps are produced. The material is now also available in English as well as Hungarian.
The company's growth is also shown by the expanded map database
An important new milestone has been reached by digital map specialists Top-Map, with the company becoming a private shareholding company in June 2008. The ownership structure of the company is unchanged, with Nav N Go Kft remaining the majority shareholder.
The company's activities will continue to focus on providing the content for Nav N Go's iGO software, with the aim of ensuring that end users of digital maps have access to coverage of every necessary detail at the highest level of quality. In tandem with the growth and development of the company, the range of products has also expanded: Top-Map and Nav N Go have cooperated to produce map databases for two South American countries, which means that Colombia and Argentina are now GPS navigation-compatible for users of iGO software.
